Metamorphosis and Peace

Dear Ones,

We are in a big process of change…the place where Aahara has been offering its Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process (SHIP) and Shamanic Warriorship Path workshops (Initiations) is no longer available to us.

In the fourteen years of offering our programs at Jubilee Farm, we have grown exponentially.

Our mission has broadened, and our purpose has shifted to include a deeper relationship with nature.

This includes promoting inner and outer peace, and understanding our mutual interdependence—humans and nature—within the interdependent web of life.

We support the regeneration of individuals, land, creatures, communities, and the world, working toward a co-creative relationship with each other. Thus, our offerings and spirituality are directed toward wholeness, achieving a sense of independence (release from co-dependency) to share our gifts as an integral part of the web of life.

We held our very last SHIP at Jubilee Farm recently, the Family of Origin, exploring our lineage conditionings, patterns, and unconscious behaviors…remembering the stories that reveal the bigger picture as it relates to our healing and regeneration.

A white moth visited us throughout the weekend, hanging out on the ceiling in our sanctuary room where we all gathered, sharing insights, laughter, tears… lots of release! Bonding with each other as we let go of this home away from home, a land held deep in our hearts and souls. A land that has spoken to us about our interdependence with mutual respect and love.

By the end of the weekend, during our closing circle, the energy in the room had shifted dramatically; it was so obvious that many of us said, “The energy is different”.

I was finishing a cup of coffee and set it down on the floor beside me as we went around the circle to say a few closing remarks to end our workshop. Always a time of incredible gratitude for the process, each other, and the work!

My husband and co-founder of Aahara, John, said to me, “Carley, look.” When I glanced down, I saw the white moth, dead at the bottom of my cup.

What does a dead white moth symbolize after fourteen years of running psycho-spiritual workshops at Jubilee Farm?

“Moths symbolize metamorphosis. A dead moth can indicate that a major challenging life change (metamorphosis) is finished, urging you to let go of the “old self” to move forward. “If you have been undergoing personal growth or turmoil, a dead white moth symbolizes that the transformation is complete, urging you to accept the change and find peace”.

Our work at Jubilee is complete. We are now gestating on the spiral path of change, a new beginning with our expanded vision to do good regenerative work in the world!

Hope to see you all soon!

Much Love,

Carley and John
