Welcome! My name is Carley Mattimore. I am a psycho-spiritual midwife for personal and collective healing and transformation. My mission is to be of service as an agent of change supporting the earth in its evolutionary upgrade to a higher consciousness where we transform our codependent natures personally and collectively and stand as independent beings recognizing our interdependence with all of the natural world.
As a Shamanic Psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working with adults and families, I integrate my training as a Therapeutic Energy Worker (the synthesis of a Shamanic, Usui & Tibetan Reiki Master and Healing Touch Practitioner). I am an the co-author of Sacred Messengers of Shamanic Africa, published by Inner Traditions. I also offer Dream Interpretation.
In 2011, I became a Master Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator with Venus Rising Association. I attended the White Lion Leadership Academy in 2016, in Timbavati, South Africa with Linda Tucker of the Global White Lion Trust and completed Lion-Hearted Practitioner Training in 2017. These trainings have deeply informed my ability to assist you in accessing and empowering the enlightened leader within you.

We understand that we are the microcosm, transcending our own personal stories of healing and transformation to effect change in the macrocosm, Mother Earth. We assist her evolution into a balanced ecosystem in right relationship bringing about a more compassionate, just and loving world.
As a Shamanic Minister and Master Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator, I offer the Shamanic Breathwork ritual which works with our body’s intuitive wisdom. Through guided meditation, drumming, the breath and chakra attuned music, this process assists you in accessing your inner wisdom to empower your personal growth and transformation. Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful tool supporting us in bringing back aspects of ourselves we had to suppress in order to function in the world.
I began the Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process in 2011 and through this process dove deep diving into my own personal traumas. I share this personal journey in my book Sacred Messengers of Shamanic Africa, published by Inner Traditions, co-authored with Linda Star Wolf.
In my 20’s, I faced immense challenges from the loss of my father and sister in a car accident and nine years later the loss of my husband, leaving me with two daughters to raise.
Remarrying and raising five daughters in a blended family focused my energies but kept my pain locked up inside. Yet, each challenge became the fuel for my continued journey. It led me to pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and later to the Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process (SHIP). In collaberation with my husband, John Malan we founded the Aahara Spiritual Community of Venus Rising, a 501c-3 congregation where we offer psycho-spiritual workshops for transformation.
This healing journey awakened me to the calling of the White Lions of Timbavati that took me into an even deeper shamanic warriorship initiation and inspired me to bring the messages of transformation and hope for Humanity as we make a dramatic shift into a new, more compassionate and loving world. I share these messages in my book Sacred Messengers of Shamanic Africa, published by Inner Traditions in 2018. My passion in writing my new book is to release ourselves from the codependency of patriarchal programing and to step into our inner authority by remembering we are interdependent beings on this big blue planet.
I co-facilitate the Shamanic Multi-dimensional Mystery School with Judith Corvin-Blackburn, author of Activating Your 5D Frequency: A Guidebook for Journey’s into the Higher Dimensions. Our third Mystery School, a Global Online Mystery School, and will begin in August 2021.
I am a graduate of the White Lion Leadership Academy and Lion-hearted Leadership Training in South Africa. My awakening in October of 2011 to the White Lions led me to Timbavati, South Africa six times as well as to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Egypt, Zimbabwe, China, Thailand, Mexico, Tonga and Peru. I went to Peru with Vera Lopez (www.spiritsoftheearth.com) and Linda Star Wolf in 2012 and wrote the foreword for their recent book, The Shamanic Mysteries of Peru which came out in the Fall of 2020.
I lead psycho-spiritual journeys to Africa along with my husband, John Malan. In 2016, Linda Star Wolf co-facilitated a tour with us to South Africa and the Global White Lion Protection Trust. In 2018, my husband and I led a group of seekers to South Africa and Zimbabwe, where we joined Mandaza Kandemwa, a Mhondoro, a carrier of Earth and Water Spirits, as we traveled to sacred sites. In 2022, we traveled to the White Lions, Adam’s Calendar (an ancient 75,000-100,000 year-old astronomical calendar) and then to Cape Town to connect with the sacred sites with the author of Pathways to the Sun, Dean Liprini (www.sacredsitesfoundationlco.za) and to experience the deeply spiritual Labyrinth Walk with Terry de Vries at her Kamala Sanctuary (www.kamalaretreathouse.com)
Our next trip to South Africa will be a pilgrimage in February of 2024. We will travel to Timbavati and visit the White Lions at the Global White Lion Protection Trust to deepen our pledges to Mother Earth under the guidance of Marietta Van der Werff, and we will travel through Zimbabwe with Baba Mhondoro Mandaza, connecting to the ancestors of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins and Victoria Falls, Mosi-o-Tunya, ‘The smoke that thunders” while integrating and deepening our commitment to Mother Earth.
I am passionate about life and enjoy sharing the messages that move through me to support the collective shift into the Aquarian/Leo Age as we awaken to a new paradigm for our planet.
