Universality of All Beings
Dear Ones,
Our pilgrimage to the Motherland: South Africa and Zimbabwe, culminated in visiting Victoria Falls during the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is the world's largest waterfall, Mosi-oa-Tunya. More than thirteen gates, portals are on this side of the Falls. At the third gate was a plaque dedicated to the falls on January 2, 1996, as one of 800 significant landmarks around the globe dedicated to peace.
The message that stood out to me for our journey was, “May this stupendous grandeur and wonder of nature forever inundate each and every human heart with a fruitful and fulfilling sea of oneness-peace. Do not stop dreaming, one day your world-peace-dream will inundate the entire world.” - Sri Chinmoy-
As we entered the twelfth gate, we carried this message of peace, as we felt the mists thick with water droplets permeate our skin and souls. We were already soaked from our gradual immersion in the energies of the water spirits as we moved through the gates.
Here at gate twelve, we connected to the energies of this portal and held hands, offering up our prayers for new beginnings. We surrendered to what was, let go, and opened ourselves to something brand new, a shift in perspective, and how we walk in the world.
I raised my arms in the air, opened them wide, and closed my eyes, praying for water to fill us. Water, our most ancient ancestor, that lives in us, “fill me up.” In that moment, a large bucket of water from the heavens dropped on me and each of us, filling us up! We were astonished; a full-on drench of water had coalesced from the mists to answer my prayer. We laughed and giggled in delight at how soaked we were!
Spirit was listening… At the very last gate, the mists were so heavy that one could not see the cavern of the Falls. We gingerly stepped onto the rock peak, where signs cautioned us about the dangers of this precipice. We began to chant loudly and deeply, heart-centered frequencies sung into the vastness of the unseen cavern. Lost in this deep wild calling, we opened our eyes to see that the mist had cleared, revealing a double rainbow over the cavern.
We are collectively at a crossroads, honoring our connection to our land and water ancestors. This understanding encourages us to live consciously and make choices that reflect the universality of all beings. We are not free until all are free.
Spirit is always there for us, waiting for us to connect.
Wishing you all a blessed month!
Much Love,
Carley and John
